Range Rules

  • Children must be 10 years of age or older, in order to be able to enter the firing range.
  • A parent or legal guardian must accompany all minors (under age 18), at all times.
  • Absolutely no pregnant or expecting women are allowed on the firing range.
  • We will allow only two people at one time in a shooting stall; others must remain behind the firing line.
  • We all want to enjoy the range, and are here to have a fun and safe shooting experience – so please make sure to follow all of the range rules. If someone is seen not following the rules, they will be escorted out of the firing range with no exceptions.w.
  • If there is intentional destruction of any range equipment (hangers, tracks, lighting, cameras, etc.), you will be held accountable and escorted out of the range. You will also be held accountable for the cost of any item, that would need to be replaced.
  • TREAT EVERY FIREARM AS IF IT IS LOADED. Always keep firearms pointed in a safe direction; down range, and not toward the floor or the ceilings.
  • Firing will only take place when the range Master signifies that the range is “HOT”, and all persons are behind the firing line, and safe conditions exist.
  • Always keep finger outside of the trigger guard until ready to fire.
  • Always keep action open, and firearm unloaded until ready to fire (this is also applicable in transport).
  • Range staff must approve targets before being allowed into the range.
  • Be sure that a range Officer inspects all firearms before operating.
  • Customers must know safety mechanisms associated with their firearms and must be proficient in using them.
  • Range Staff must inspect all range ammunition before entering the Shooting range.
  • All firearms must be cased and unloaded while entering and exiting the range.
  • Spectators are not permitted on the firing line.
  • If you have brought more than one firearm, you must use only one at a time.
  • Ear and eye protection must be worn at all times whilst in the range.
  • Shooters must wear clothing that helps protect their skin. No open-toed shoes (sandals), sleeveless shirts or low blouses are permitted on the range.
  • Loaded firearms are NOT allowed behind the firing line.
  • During the command “CEASE FIRE”; shooters must immediately stop shooting, show cleared and safe firearm, then put your firearm on the shooting bench, and step away from the firing line. You may not approach the firing line or your firearm, until the signal “ALL CLEAR” is given.
  • Never use alcohol or drugs during, before or whilst shooting any firearm. If any of our range Officers sees that you are unfit, you will be escorted out of the shooting area without exception.
  • No drinks, food, gum or tobacco products are permitted inside the range. All shooters should wash their hands before leaving the range and also before eating, drinking or smoking.
  • Shooters may collect their brass, once they have cased and unloaded their firearms and are ready to exit the range. Shooters may only grab brass that is behind the firing line.
  • Act responsibly at all times, be aware of your surroundings, and if you observe any unsafe conditions, please report it to any of the range Staff immediately.
  • Class III or NFA Firearms and Accessories – those firearms modified to produce rapid fire or special attention, are not permitted on the range without producing proper paperwork.
  • DO NOT SHOOT AT ANYTHING OTHER THAN YOUR DESIGNATED TARGET.
  • INCENDIARY AMMUNITION OR ARMOR PIERCING AMMUNITION WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE RANGE. THIS INCLUDES STEEL CORE AND ANY BIMETAL AMMUNITION.
  • ALL AMMUNITION EXCEEDING 308 WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE RANGE.
  • EXPLODING TARGETS OR BLEEDING TARGETS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON.
